Enrolment guidelines

This session is open for PhD students and postdocs with an interest in the topic at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences

Content

Where does generative AI fit into your research – and where should you remain firmly in control?

In this interactive workshop, you will map your own research workflow and consider where AI may be useful, where careful evaluation is needed, and where human judgement should remain central. We will introduce the concepts of centaurs and cyborgs as different ways of thinking about human–AI collaboration and use them to explore low- and high-stakes research tasks.

The session combines a short expert input with reflection and discussion based on your own research practice. No prior experience with generative AI is required.

Facilitated by Nicole Schmitt.
