Membrane Technology For Circularity In Industrial Processes

This PhD course explores the role of membrane technology in advancing circularity within industrial processes. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how membranes can be applied for water and wastewater treatment, resource recovery and energy efficiency. Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on sessions, the course highlights innovative membrane-based solutions that support sustainable production and minimize environmental impact. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications across sectors such as the steel industry, pulp and paper industry, chemical manufacturing, and battery recycling.
The course will consist of lectures, group exercises, presentation and discussion of the participants’ own projects as well as networking.
