Aim and Content
The purpose of this Science Communication Toolbox course is to provide the PhD students with basic science dissemination skills within written and spoken science communication used in monologue, dialogue, and co-creation. The course also teaches the students about the different contexts of science communication to provide the proper skillset for the PhD students whether they stay in academia or join a public or private organization later in their career. Finally, the PhD students will be equipped with tools on how to reflect on own and others’ communication practices.
The course is based on active learning strategies, why the students will both build and reflect on their own science communication practice during the course.
