Presentation and Discussion of Research and Literature within Inorganic Chemistry and Materials Science

General course objectives:

To be trained in disseminating and discussing inorganic chemistry research as well as relevant literature at a high, international level.



Learning objectives:

A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:

  • Present research project design orally, in a clear, concise manner
  • Present research project results orally, in a clear, concise manner
  • Present primary literature orally, in a clear, concise manner
  • Present primary literature orally with focus on relevant main messages
  • Demonstrate familiarity with state-of-the-art chemistry research within one's own field at an international high level
  • Demonstrate familiarity with state-of-the-art related to research at DTU Chemistry at an intermediary level
  • Demonstrate knowledge of synthetic techniques in chemistry research
  • Demonstrate knowledge of analytic techniques in chemistry research
  • Be able to discuss one's own chemistry research at an international high level
  • Be able to discuss ongoing research at DTU Chemistry at an intermediary level

Contents:

Mandatory participation in group meetings, presentation of research project design and results, as well as the presentation of relevant literature. Discussion of results and state-of-the-art research within the following topics: Inorganic chemistry, Materials, Catalysis, Coordination chemistry, and related disciplines.
