Presentation and Discussion of Research in Organic Chemistry

To be trained in disseminating and discussing organic chemistry research at a high, international level.
Learning objectives:
A student who has met the objectives of the course will be able to:
- Present research project design orally, in a clear, concise manner
- Present research project results orally, in a clear, concise manner
- Be able to discuss one's own chemistry research at an international high level
- Be able to discuss ongoing research at DTU Chemistry at an intermediary level
- Demonstrate familiarity with state-of-the-art chemistry research
- Demonstrate knowledge of synthetic techniques in chemistry research
- Demonstrate knowledge of analytic techniques in chemistry research
- Be proficient at acquiring and processing 1D and 2D NMR data
Contents:
Mandatory participation in group meetings, presentation of research project design and results. Discussion of state-of-the-art research in organic chemistry and related disciplines. There will also be mandatory NMR training sessions.
