Analytical work in qualitative and ethnographic health research (23/4, 24/4 & 29/5 2024)

In this PhD course we will present, explore and reflect on different ways of conducting qualitative analyses. We will address questions such as What is a good qualitative analysis? What do we mean by theory and theoretical work, and how does theory influence our analysis and vice versa? Furthermore, we will consider Analysis as writing and we will discuss quality in qualitative health research and the challenges of publishing qualitative and ethnographic work.
